KARA was a girl group founded by DSP Media in 2007. They disbanded in 2016.

Name and Fanclub[]

The group's name comes from the Greek word "chara" (χαρά, lit. "joy"), which they interpreted to mean "sweet melody".

The official fanclub of KARA is called Kamilia (카밀리아), a combination of KARA and familia, a word for family.
